We were attending a wedding at the Wool Tower, which was conveniently just a short taxi ride away. Ann, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including fresh milk and a homemade wheaten loaf. the bungalow was spacious and well-equipped, with all the essential amenities provided, from face cloths to shampoo and shower cream. Ann's attention to detail and helpfulness made us feel right at home. the area was quiet and peaceful, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. We highly recommend this property, especially for those attending events at the Wool Tower. Cons: Can't think of anything 😊.

The location was perfect for the wedding we attended, and the house provided ample room for our group. The spacious living room and kitchen were impressive, and having both a fridge and fridge/freezer was convenient. The two bathrooms, especially the large one, were a bonus. Though we didn't get to use the back garden due to time constraints and rain, the well-maintained front garden was lovely. The snooker room was a super fun addition for our evenings. Ann, our hostess, went above and beyond by leaving us a delicious homemade cake and other provisions. She even thoughtfully included chocolates on the beds and a special duvet cover for our friend's granddaughter. These personal touches truly made us feel welcome and our stay incredibly comfortable.

Mind-blowingly beautiful home with super comfortable beds. Ann, our amazing host, welcomed us with delicious apple pie and treats for the kids. All amenities provided, including Wi-Fi, free parking, and a well-equipped kitchen. The snooker room was jaw-dropping and perfect for evenings. Ann's attention to detail, from homemade cakes to essential provisions, made us feel right at home. Loved the special touches for kids, like cots and toddler cutlery. Great location near wedding venue and stunning front garden. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the outdoor dining and picnic areas, as well as the hiking, cycling, and golf nearby. The hospitality was exceptional, with a great welcome package including tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. The beds were comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. The location was convenient, with a short drive to the town center.
The stairs were quite steep, which may not be ideal for families with young children.

This place was an amazing find! The bungalow was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, even leaving extra treats for us. The communication from start to finish was excellent. We also loved the fact that the house was family-friendly, with plenty of space for the kids to play and unwind. The kitchen and dining area were spacious and well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. this was one of the best self-catering houses we have ever stayed in, and we would highly recommend it to others.
The only thing that raised a concern for us was the presence of certain flags pertaining to demographics in the area. However, this did not affect our overall experience as the local population we encountered were excellent and provided helpful advice.
